About the Australian Rail Summit 2008
Now into its 7th year, the Australian Rail Summit 2008 will focus on the key issues facing rail in Australia including financing infrastructure, Auslink, rail access, ports, intermodal operations, freight and passenger rail networks, new technology , PPP’sand export opportunities. Senior representatives from right across the rail and related transport industries will be speaking at this event including Federal Government departments and agencies, private and State rail operators, industry suppliers and major rail users. We are also delighted to announce that the 4th Annual Great Rail Industry Charity Ball will be held on the evening of 23rd of July which promises to be a great social occasion for the rail industry that will benefit three leading children’s charities, Redkite, JDRF and Barnardos. The 2007 event held in July this year attracted over 150 attendees to the Summit over the two days from all sectors of the freight and passenger rail industry, government and major rail users.
