About the SUMMIT

From the 26th to the 28th March 2012, New Zealand and Australia’s leading emergency response and recovery professionals are gathering together under one roof for just 3 days to discuss the preparation, response and recovery of recent disasters.  With so many national and international experts coming together for such a short time, this is certainly a learning and networking opportunity you can't afford to miss!  You’ll come away with new insights and practical tips that you can implement in your own organisation right away.

Many of you will be familiar with our very popular Emergency Management conference held in Brisbane in September.  We have gathered feedback from the many New Zealand and Australian attendees and have carefully designed the programme for the March conference based on what you said you wanted to hear.  We’re also bringing out some of the top rated speakers from the Brisbane event to share their expertise with you.

You will hear in-depth case study presentations and discussions around key findings covering earthquakes, storms, tornados, and floods to name a few.. We’ll be taking a close look at both the emergency response aspects of a disaster AND the important recovery considerations throughout the programme.
