‘Anytime, anywhere learning’ is no longer a vision but the expectation. With the huge quantities of technology that have flooded into the Australian K-12 schooling system, teachers today have an ever increasing reliance that they will have the resources they need, when they need them.
One-to-one laptop programmes, BYO schemes, learning management systems, student management systems, parent portals and more have all created their own set of challenges.
How do we make sure that the IT systems in place can support and adapt to the ever changing needs of 21st century learners and teachers? How do we deliver a safe, secure environment that is constantly available to students, teachers and increasingly, parents? Where do we draw the line between a schools responsibility and the parents, and how do we deliver all of this within the constraints of a school’s IT budget?
In 2012 there is only one place to go to find the answers to these questions....welcome to EduTech.
About the event
On May 30th and 31st 2012, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre will host EduTech, a 2-day national event running alongside the hugely popular Technology in K-12 Education National Congress 2012 - already SOLD OUT with close to 1000 delegates – as well as the TAFE Congress 2012, making this Australia’s largest education technology show.
EduTech will bring together the IT leaders and technical managers responsible for building, implementing and supporting the systems needed to ensure that Australian education can embrace the future that technology offers. Over 2 packed days, delegates will hear from both industry leaders and peers who are leading the way through a series of seminars, presentations and case studies.
